Quick take
The Hero 3 is the simplest Aegis. It charges over USB-C, refills through a side port, and uses Geekvape’s P-series pods. Nothing to mess with, nothing to lose. The trade-off is a sealed 1500mAh battery — fine for two daily fills, less generous if you chain it through long phone calls.
Best pod choice
Run the 0.4-ohm P-series mesh coil for direct-lung freebase juice or the 1.2-ohm pod for nic salts. Both refill in under 30 seconds and seal back up cleanly. Geekvape’s pods on this generation leak less than the original Hero — a real, measurable improvement.
What stands out
- 1500mAh built-in battery — no separate cells to buy
- 45W output with a focused range for nic-salt and freebase
- IP65 dust and splash resistant
- Magnetic refillable pods (P-series)
Things to check before you buy
- Built-in battery means a finite lifespan — expect 18-24 months of daily use
- Lower wattage ceiling than the Boost Pro 2; not a cloud chaser
